To me when people ask how can I love more then one person in a poly relationship. My response is you grow up loving both your parents, loving all 4 of your grandparents and siblings and so on. So we are all capable of loving more then one person and having many love us. But when we hit a certain age depending on our culture and surroundings, your told to stop all of that all of a sudden and forced to love just one person and that's it. Depending on religion as well. That's because it's designed in my eyes to enslave us to each other. Making most unhappy in the end but that greater love is shrunken to a very small "1". Thinking long term the way I do...I rather the person I love have each other because the day will come when I pass away and the only thing to help anyone thru such a lost is having people around to love them who will help each other cope with my lost instead of having no one if only in a mono relationship. But to each their own. We are all here temporarily so no one will ever truly just be mines and vise verse. Much love and healing to all.
