Quick Trick for Exporting Selected Features Using Model Builder and ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Pro

This video details using the "Model Builder" Function within ArcGIS Pro to automate breaking up a polygon feature. We will select a feature within a feature class and then export only the selected feature. This is handy to eliminate manually selecting and exporting using the ArcGIS GUI for several different features. In this example, we are exporting each state/US teritory as its shapefile.

Thanks for putting this video up. It helped me trouble shoot an export issue following the Iterator. My select feature was a numerical value, and I was exporting to a GDB. (feature classes can not start with a number duh) then I tried a text value but it had a space...

So, I tricked GIS. "a%value%" worked for the numerical value!

Actually for this you could use Split (Analysis) by attribute value.
