REFUND TERMS AND CONDITIONS

47. Conditions for the refund in the Full Marathon:
47.1. The Participant can attend a maximum of 1 class per day and must complete the
class from start to finish (i.e. they cannot be late or leave the class earlier).
47.2. The Participant has to attend the following classes:
30 classes in month 1 – from 21st January 2019 to 19th February 2019 inclusive
30 classes in month 2 – from 20th February 2019 to 21st March 2019 inclusive
30 classes in month 3 – from 22nd March 2019 to 20th April 2019 inclusive
48. Conditions for the refund in the Half Marathon:
48.1. The Participant can attend a maximum of 1 class per day and must complete the
class from start to finish (i.e. they cannot be late or leave the class earlier).
48.2. The Participant can attend a maximum of 5 classes per week. For this promotion, a
week is considered to start on Mondays and finish on Sundays.
48.3. The Participant has to attend the following classes:
15 classes in month 1 – from 21st January 2019 to 19th February 2019 inclusive
15 classes in month 2 – from 20th February 2019 to 21st March 2019 inclusive
15 classes in month 3 – from 22nd March 2019 to 20th April 2019 inclusive
Language Marathon Rules
49. The Participant agrees to use the original class credit set that they get with the Marathon
payments. No other class credits will be considered in order to qualify for the Marathon
refund or for the completion of the Marathon. It is not allowed to purchase additional credits
in the store or make use of these.
50. The Participant is only allowed to use one time-zone during the whole promotion. If
the Participant needs to change their time-zone for any reason, they need to request the
Promoter’s permission first and provide proof of why they need this change. Failure to request
this permission will result in disqualification for the refund.
51. Canceling classes less than 7 days in advance will result in disqualification for the refund,
regardless of the availability of enough credits due to other circumstances.

Love it! My husband and I had a VERY hard time in Paris in October knowing next to no French. Hi Rosie, thank you so much for the video. I just finished a course at Alliance Française in my home town Rotterdam. I enjoyed it, but for personal reasons it's not possible for me to continue there during the next couple of months. Lingoda sounds nice and I'm seriously considering giving the marathon a go, but I still have some questions. I registered for the seven day free trial and just had my first class. I was satisfied with the contents and teacher, but the microphone didn't work initially even though I had tested it before. It did work after disconnecting and trying again, however. What is your experience with the reliability of the website? Also when I was using Zoom for the class I couldn't use anything else, so I couldn't look up words online or anything. And am I doing something wrong or is it normal that you can only see the Zoom screen and nothing else? And what is your experience with the availability of the classes you wanted to participate in while you were doing the course? Was every topic you wanted to work on available (as a group class) or did you have to take classes on days or times that were less convenient for you to complete a specific level? So many questions, sorry!

This is but I think I might try it, I think it's exactly what I need. I'm borderline B1/B2 but struggling to get fully into B2, but here I'd have the motivation to complete every lesson because I literally can't afford this course without the refund 😅 not that I don't think it's worth the money, I just don't personally have that much spare cash floating about. Plus the motivation of potentially reaching C1 😍😍😍
