We Need to Talk About Tucker Carlson...

On last week’s episode I claimed that Tucker Carlson was a true conservative that rooted his ideology in Christianity. The same day that episode aired, Tucker platformed revisionist historian Daryl Cooper.

On today’s episode, I’m joined by a true historian, Paul Reid, to explain more about Cooper’s outlandish WWII claims.

This is why we pray for discernment. If we just believe everything people say, we'd be a mess with trying to decide what's real and what's not.

My dad was in the Ozarks (102nd Infantry Division 1942-1945) and he personally witnessed the death camps as they were liberated. I still have his campaign book with the documentation of their journey through the war.

Also I don’t think Stalin should be let off the hook. Stalin was quite happy to carve up Poland with Hitler and other parts of Europe. The Bolsheviks were friendlier with the Nazis that people imagine. The atrocities against the Poles, the mass murder of Polish officers at Katyn forest. They got away with it.

I live in the Caribbean, though I attended university in the US for my undergrad and I just wanted to let you know that you have Caribbean Posse, as it were! I eagerly anticipate your podcasts and watch them during the premiere every week. I really appreciate your thoughtful, well-researched sharing on so many critical and relevant topics from a biblical perspective, in each podcast. I learn a lot each week and am so grateful to benefit so richly from your years of study and research, inspired also, no doubt, by years of relationship with God. Bless you and your family.

We are ALL flawed and move the needle to what makes sense to us.
The only way to measure truth is through the Scriptures and wisdom of the Holy Spirit.

Larry, you should find a way to get on Tucker's show and educate him. He needs it.

Everything about that interview with D Cooper bothered me to the point that I did not want to watch it all and I didn't. It was indeed outlandish.

It was Chamberlin who declared war on Germany after the invasion of Poland in 1939. France joined in with him. Churchill had nothing to do with making Poland the basis of WWII. I guess Carlson is not much of a historian. I doubt his journalistic chops too because even if he didn't know history, he could have been curious enough to ask for evidence to support the assertions made on his show. Thanks for setting the record straight. We need people to do that.

The danger is always that the devil sprinkles enough truth with bold lies in a smooth and convincing way. He strokes your ego by telling you he’s letting you into a secret because you are “smarter” than everyone else.

You don't need "extraordinary evidence." You just need evidence.

At some point one has to stop giving Tucker the benefit of the doubt. He chooses carefully who he interviews and there is a narrative he is been transmitting very clearly for those who see the common denominator in his interviews.

My WW2 veteran father was extremely bitter that Joe Stalin ended up owning half of Europe after WW2. Saw no point to fighting the Nazis. Events are subject to interpretation. And one should be allowed to interpret ones place in events as one wishes.

I have honestly been getting this feeling like something is up with a lot of conservative commentators. Some who I think definitely know what they're pushing and others who are just decived. I think about what Mark Twain said, "When you find yourself going the way of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect.

This is why reading the Bible from front to back, then studying on a daily basis is so important. That is how we are able to have discernment.
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path"

As a Briton who studied history at Cambridge I can verify the underlying validity of Cooper's claims.

I'm retired & some 20 yrs back... I did a respectable deep dive about the era when UK Lords were marrying rich America gals. Winston's mom was such a person - & Roosevelt gave W his honorary US citizenship, a gesture.

Winston was born pre-mature, and in boarding school did not sit still.
Finally he was back home to be tutored.

Yes, like most aristocrats upbringing of the time, he played with a nice collection of toy soldiers.

If your dad was Navy... you played with a toy ship, blew on a ship's whistle etc. This was normal.

I believe he had signs of highly functioning Aspergers. Highly smart, easily distracted, depending.

Most like him don't sit still cuz school bores them. To focus (and they do this well) they tune out everything around them.

One of his fave quotes was, "Never, never, never give up!"

He gave hope and would constantly encouraged everyone during hard times.

From 1948-9 (?) until his death, he had 8 strokes. W resign being PrimeMstr in 1955 (?) and dies Jan of 1965. I think he was 90.

He was no psycho anything, was fisty, funny, organized, slept in 2 shifts during the war... was organized & delegated well.

This Cooper guy that Tucker interviewed, I think prolly has C👁️A training to persuade, tell tales and drop lil important things to a person just to see how much they know.

Thank you so much for your video, to balance history - and to your guest near the end. 👏

Hey my great uncle was the driver for Patton in Europe. He told that same hospital story. Matter of fact I think he wrote about it in a letter home. I got all his letters. If he did write it down. I'll be in contact with you.

The current trend is that misinformation is what passes for factual truth. Critical thinking is what is needed, a thoughtful and careful study is the only way to get the whole story

The problem since the internet came along and especially these days, is that even when you are trying to research something - anything - there is SO MUCH information for and against and everything in between. Even if this was your paid job, there are not enough hours in a day or brain cells in your head to sort through it all. It's physically and mentally impossible.

This is something I don't often see addressed. We are living in an age of information overload. No wonder so many people are stressed out and mentally sick. I don't think God designed our minds to be intaking and processing this much information, all the time.
