Easy Off Oven Cleaner FUME FREE | Does it Work??

This is a greasy oven that would take you at least an hour to clean. Many professional cleaners wouldn't even promise it could get totally clean. We tested out the Easy Off Oven Cleaner. Is it really fume free? Does it burn your skin? And most importantly, will it work?? If you don't have self clean or don't want to use it, this video is for you!

Not only did we tackle the oven but the glass top stove had a nasty ring around the burner. NOTE: it scratched the surface (fine scratches) but it was already so scratched up that you can't see the scratches.

We're very impressed with Easy Off Oven Cleaner - the FUME FREE version. Always wear gloves but it didn't burn my skin or hurt to breath. When you're putting your entire head inside an oven to clean it, it's tough not to breath in the fumes. So I'm pleasantly surprised at how well it did!

I wish you had gone into some detail on applying the cleaner and the heating elements. I've covered them with foil before because it's hard to avoid spraying them, especially the upper one.

I’ve used this brand for now 7 years, was really happy when they came out with fume free. My spouse is SOOOO bad with destroying the oven, puts extra cheese on pizza while it’s on the rack in the oven, won’t pick up anything that falls into the oven. Best money spent for Easy-Off! I’m bored and trying this on a blackened pan too... 😆

I never had to scrub when I used the toxic stuff. I just sprayed it on and walked away. Cooked on stuff would come off with the wipe of a rag. Yeah, the fume free is okay if you don't mind using abrasives. If you are going scrub with abrasives, I dare say you could use dish washing liquid.

really doesn't show process, what about the upper oven? How to you not spray elements and light? Do you do racks? No answers here, only "post hoc"

Scratch brite is the best to clean ovens and stoves especially a smooth top

FYI it has a strong smell still. I had to ug my nose and cup over my mouth to breath while I sprayed. Once the oven door is closed theres barely any smell. I left mine in for 12 hours. When I cleaned it off I plugged my nose again. Its worth it though.

Looks a lot like my Whirlpool oven. Thanks for the video. Easy Off oven cleaner can says not to spray on heating elements, aluminum, lights, thermostat.... My heating elements do not detach from the oven. So, I am applying masking tape over them and anything else I do not want sprayed. Did you spray the oven racks/shelves and did that clean them?

Your video did not show how you cleaned the inside of the oven with the element in the way? Also how do you not get the oven cleaner on the heating element?

For anyone who has a very sensitive nose, the fume free does not mean smell free. My husband had to go into another room with a closed door and leave the house for a bit because the smell was so strong.

You didn't clean the center of the burner. I'm wondering why. ?

A razor blade with handle and dawn soap with water takes everything off of anything including glass top stove

I'd never use a pumice to clean my glass cooktop stove...says right in the instructions to beware of using cleaning tools that scratch. You're much better off using something like Bar Keeper's Friend Cooktop and a utility blade. Why scratch it up more?
