The declining birth rate problem is a global phenomena. Israel is a known outlier because it is developed and has a relatively high fertility rate compared to other developed countries.

Migration is a short-term solution since migrants tend to have the same average fertility rate as the native population within one or two generations.

It’s a problem we don’t fully understand, and seems to be cultural rather than anything since family-friendly policies, like long parental leaves, doesn’t seem to be working for Europe. Even countries that didn’t have them, see a very small increase in fertility, Hungary for example had about a +0.2 increase after implementing tons of programs to help start families.

Israel has a very strong culture that emphasizes starting families, and connected families.
The moment you get to college, you’d start getting family members asking you when you’re getting married, and once you get married, tons of pressure for when you’re having kids.

Some theorize that Hasidics, a small sect that have a very high fertility rate, helps replenish and maintain the fertility rate, which can be a path for future human evolution such that a small sect of a population develops “baby fever” (a string desire and longing to have a child).

However, cultural and societal factors change across time, and these things, like declining fertility, have a way of sorting themselves out.

But we are paying for our own services whilst paying for others, that is how we get free health care and other shit, unlike a specific country that mostly puts its people's taxes towards the military. Also, I don't think the EU has to worry about immigration lol
