Everyone has culture whether you recognize it or not. A working definition of culture is it is the set of beliefs, customs, practices, values, and social norms that allow us to make sense of the world. Such as food preferences are often culturally generated. Beliefs, language, and communications are also culturally engrained. White people have cultural standards and norms, but they are so entwined in how our societies operate we forget they are white culture.

I’m sorry, what are Vikings, Victorians who wore the corsets and parasoles, wtf is Oktoberfest, The Renaissance, what are the fairytales like Hansel and Gretel, Snow White, sleeping beauty, etc. Foods like strudels, pasta, croissants, places like the Eiffel Tower, Fountains abbey, Big Ben, music like the polka, flamenco, waltzes, etc. I can tell you, it’s not Asian, nor African, nor Latino.

Someone clearly wasn’t interested in where their family came from growing up. Plenty of culture before the boat, and plenty of new culture off the boat. In fact some cultures evolved to better work with their new environment.

America is called a melting pot for a reason.
