Host city of the Women's World Cup and host of the Olympics 2032, Brisbane is one of Australia's top places to visit. In this video, we discover South Bank, a district that, as the name suggests, is located just south of the Central Business District. In addition to the amazing views, in the South Bank you also find a beach and a pool!

In this vlog, we use the city's free boat to get to Kangaroo Point Cliffs, and from there, we walk the entire South Bank, an area developed for the World Expo 1988. What remains from the Expo? The Nepalese Peace Pagoda, one of only 3 Peace Pagodas outside of Nepal. Join us for a lovely walk along South Bank Parklands, a major entertainment area where you can have a lot of fun... for free!

I just watched this video, and it's great to see the beautiful sights of Brisbane! BTW it's one of my favorite dog walks, my dog loves it. A quick note though: the Goodwill Bridge connects South Bank to the Brisbane Botanic Garden, which is green and beautiful. I'm eagerly waiting for the new bridge to Queen's Wharf that's planned to have a skydeck and more entertainment options. Can't wait to see more videos like this!

Those birds you saw are often called "bin chickens". They were actually nearly extinct and a breeding colony had been established at Taronga Zoo in Sydney. One night a big storm hit and destroyed their enclosure and they escaped, and then they started breeding like crazy. Now they are everywhere. I was in Brisbane for a day a few years ago and I couldn't believe how hot it was - the sun was brutal! I was glad to get back to grey old Melbourne. Nice city though!

FYI those islands in Moreton bay have by far the best beaches in south east Queensland - Moreton Island in particular is spectacular, though North Stradbroke is easier to get to.

Fantastic video Renata! Brisbane is so beautiful, with such a unique location on the river and Moreton Bay. It will be am amazing Olympic host! - it is growing quickly though, and will be bigger in 9 years' time when they light the Olympic cauldron at the Gabba!
