When You're Hangry When Traveling

True fact: hanger affects 100% of couples who travel together 😜 In all seriousness though, after traveling to 189 countries together, probably 90% of our arguments come from when we are hungry or rushed. So here are 2 things we do to reduce hanger while traveling.

#1 always have an emergency snack 😋 Our favorite go-to when we are in the US are @Costco Kirkland protein bars. We call these our " emergency marriage savers" 🤣 (Really any protein bar works, but after lots of trial and error bars like Kirkland's are the best. No chocolate coating so they don't melt. And they aren't crunchy so they won't crumble 😬)

#2 Drink a lot of water!!! This may not directly help with hunger, but it is a game changer when traveling. Flying at high altitudes dehydrates you and before you know it you have a headache 🫤 If we are in the US we like to carry hydration packets like @LiquidIV (sometimes water can have a unique flavor and this helps mask that flavor). And an added bonus is we carry a water filter that filters out both bacteria and viruses. Just in case we land in a remote area and there's no drinkable water available)

#3 A bonus tip is be married to the most gracious, forgiving, and adventurous girl in the world! I definitely get "attacked by hanger" the most and Emmy is the most patient person I know! Thanks so much Emmy! Idk anyone else who is able to do the things you do and still have that level of patience. You are the best! 🥰
