Why do you installed behind the rearview mirror?

I intend to install it in my Freightliner truck. My windshield is very vertical, almost at an 90 degree angle of the dashboard. Now I know that the camera pivots but will it be enough for me to have a great coverage in front of my truck?

Does the 3m sticker hold good? I live in a dry very hot in the summer climate and I've tried the suction cups mounting on dash cams and they aren't good at all.

Can you take it off the gps to view the footage at a closer look or will it cut off if you take it off the gps?

Probably you didn't use the felt stick on part to reduce the rattle in the audio, or your CPL filter rattles when you accelerate

just wondering how can you see the screen when its behind the mirror and it can't be adjusted because there's no swivel mount?

It is doubtful that you are going to charge a phone and run the dash cam at the same time on the same port. If the load attempts to draw too much current (i.e. more than 100 mA for a USB port that is rated for only 100 mA), then depending on the power supply, the voltage may sink below 5v, or the supply may stop working altogether due to a over-current shut-down mechanism
