Giants of Bass - Billy Sheehan

This video features the track that I have written to represent legendary bass player Billy Sheehan in the revamped edition of my book 'Giants of Bass', which will be released in March 2017. This track combines many different elements of Billy's playing, from fast fingerstyle grooves and artificial harmonics to tapped solo lines.

This piece features some fantastic musicians - Charlie Griffiths (Haken) on guitar and Jason Bowld (Bullet for My Valentine, Fightstar, Bill Bailey, Pitchshifter) on drums.

You didn't bend the neck or nearly break it off like Sheehan does! Very good, great to see you adopting Sheehan's reinforced index finger tapping style just for this. (You use Hamm's technique in the Hamm tune yet use Sheehan's technique in this, really great).
