Agreed, nice work and love the black. To make it easy screw the 2x4’s for the back frame into the wall, then screw the front frame 2x4 flush against it but don’t screw the screws all the way in. Then attach your legs to the front and your front frame is done. Detach the front frame from the rear and you have two equal sections. Secure braces using pocket holes however wide you want your shelf then attach the front frame and done. It’s an easy one person job. 👍

How the heck do you paint BLACK without a drop cloth using a roller. I’d have a paint on the floor, on me, my clothes and if i wan’t lucky the wall and maybe ceiling. And if i was unlucky i’d knock the paint can over.

I'm building something similar right now. I'm curious, did you end up adding additional vertical structural beams in the middle for load bearing assistance?
