1. Get an Overview/Meta learning
(What, When and How)

2. Focus/Deep work routine
(Enter Deep Work Mode/DO NOT DISTURB mode/Hyperfocus, for an hour/a few hours everyday

3. Be involved/Apply what you learned (Directedness)

4. Work on the skills that you are bad at/Fix the problem areas
(You're only as good as you're weakest link)

5. Active recall (Don't just rely on notes. Try to retrieve data on your own overtime)
- Teaching others helps

6. Ask for Feedback and Improve. Don't look for flattering points, ask people to roast you/ give you constructive criticism.

7. Regularly practice your knowledge. Revisit what you learnt. Use what you learnt to do something different from what you'd normally do.

8. Immerse yourself in what you're learning to try and gain intuition/deep expertise.

9. Experiment (especially if things get repetitive)
-Find new approaches to refine/improve your craft
GET CREATIVE

(This was the only way I could get myself to watch through attentively)

One problem we have in the US is that learning is about money or employment. A brain is like a muscle, the more you learn the better your decision power. Learning about health, relationships, management, personal wealth, investing, historical people, or biographies, helps build a strong mind.

Kindly do the summary of his second book: Get Better at Everything. I think these techniques work really well in people who want to learn and improve on some skills that makes them employed. As I am working to improve data science career, I need to learn new techniques or algorithms. This technique is the best. It's personal and effective.

These are all pretty good. I would offer several more ideas:

Co-learning- learn a related subject at the same time and try to relate, compare, contrast, and implement one with the other.
*An example would be to create math programs if studying a programming language and trigonometry.

Essay writing- try to create an interesting article including the new concepts you're learning.
*An example can even include the first suggestion by writing a Math essay in LateX or a web article on Ethics in html.

Diversify material- use every avenue available to learn a new topic watching and comparing similar courses, using software and simulators, trying out textbooks from multiple publishers.
*For example, there are almost limitless resources online and tons of channels, videos, books, and websites. It is incredible how much accessible free educational materials there are compared to even 10 years ago.

Good work bro, well articulated and practical, I've taken on the lifelong learning mindset since I was about 16, I'm 29 now and you hit the nail on the head in the way you conveyed the points, the brain juices up so well to this process.
Subbed, good on ya cob

Koi, like your video, I had a very bad start in life (health and family wise) and was told (at age 9) I would NOT be able to read and write properly EVER, however, I was lucky with my adoptive parents as they implemented a reading programme which changed my life. I am now 65 and throughout my adult life I have adopted a 'LEARN TO LEARN' policy and have been a successful coach in several sports and had (so far) a interesting and moderately successful life. Along similar lines to your thinking, I have tried new things not overly worried if I fail or not brilliant at it, however, gleaming and learning each time and enjoying the experience. Even though in my sixties I continue this ideaology in physical and mental learning.

A perfect video at a perfect time! I just finished my studies for the day, but still felt empty like I studied nothing! 🙂...now I know where I need to improve! Thanks to this !!

Well, I have another problem with my focus, nope! It's not my phone, it's that whenever I open my books I just stare at them, don't study them. How to avoid this habit?
Can you make a video on this ! Please!!😅

Ultralearning for me is one of the greatest books I've ever read in my life. Idk why it isn't so popular.
