As someone that’s deep in the trenches, this was a great reminder of how hard work and perseverance can bring the results we crave. I think it's a little disconnected when they talk about utilizing time. For someone who sits at a desk for a living to basically say your lazy if your not doing more, is way different than someone who works thousands of hours of mandatory overtime in a physically laborious job. I personally would have way more energy if I sat a a desk and talked all day for a living. Also life is much different when you have young kids that aren't involved in sports and other activities.

Does that mean that I'm not killing myself to achieve financial freedom absolutely not. However me staying up till 1 am and then doing a physically strenuous and dangerous job is world different than me staying up till 1 and then going to a desk.

If your electric bill was $1400 for the first shed at home, that is not 99% business use. 1% personal electric would be $14 per month. Nobody has an electric bill that low. My basic service charge if I use no electricity is higher than that. When he gets audited, he is going to have to pay back taxes. Plus interest and penalties. Getting a separate meter is the only way that the IRS could not dispute the electric allocation.
