He doesn't need one thousand iq he just knows how to drive his vehicle in different situations. If you drive a vehicle it's good to actually know your vehicle and it's capability. I remember doing this when I used to drive trucks after an ice storm, scary but you have to be confident . I got myself and a bus driver out of a blocked road doing this and I think the bus driver was surprised by his own ability with a bit of guidance and we both got out of there leaving a whole lot of people just stuck there and his passengers were happy too.

I remember this trick in some video games. In my childhood, when I drift, I use brakes to avoid hitting the obstacles. Idk whether I used it in NFS or Burnout Paradise, but I know that I used it in GTA online.

This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. You've obviously never driven on slippery roads. Winter tires have the best grip in the rolling direction. If you drive sideways, you lose grip. The reason the bus twists is physics. But once the bus turns, the driver does the right thing by keeping the wheels rolling. If the wheels lock, stop rolling, you lose complete control of the vehicle. This is basic driving training in Norway.
