Arkbird Prototype Mod Test - Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown

Time to take a look at a prototype of kosnag's upcoming mod. This is the Arkbird from Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War, and it's going to be the single biggest playable aircraft once it's released. Work on the mod is still ongoing, though the prototype is mostly functional.

The Arkbird and Alicorn fight is right, bloody natural. The Alicorn is the evolution of the Scinfaxi and Hrimfaxi design philosophy.

How cool would it be to have some missions of the campaign be something like this? Just flying a fortress of a craft with an insanely high health pool (with the health regen ability as a standard) while you manage the craft's superweapons playing out the role of a "boss" unit on the protagonist's team. Sure, your maneuverability would be somewhat sluggish, but the power you wield would make up for it.
