I'd have a hard time seeing a difference between a church and its pastor agreeing to host a gay wedding, and an invitee--even a relative of one of the parties getting married--attending one. In both cases, isn't there an implication of approval of the event?

The Colorado baker refused to bake a cake celebrating a gay wedding for a simple reason: had he baked it, that would imply his ascent to the event.

While christians oppose the gay agenda, opposing their events doesn't save them. What they need is salvation, not to "become straight." That said, being in attendance at a gay wedding would, it seems to me, promote their sense of security in their sin.
