Thank you for your teaching Sam. Reconciling the dual aspects of Jesus so hard. It's not anything that we can really understand. But our point of view is so tiny and so limited, it's audacious to assume that we could ever truly understand anything eternal. The bible says that "For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him." This means that he existed before all of creation, all our universe. And yet "For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin". Jesus is somehow fully God, and at the same time he his fully human.

Thanks, Sam! This honestly helps me understand Jesus on a whole new level. Btw, in Matthew 4 when Satan tempts Jesus then Jesus commands Satan to leave, how is it that Jesus has authority over Satan by sending him away but is also tempted by him?
