I spent over 100 hours training my bow aim in Rust and in this video im showing you the progress from hour 1 - 100. I will also tell you what I learned so you dont make the same mistakes...

There's a pretty easy to use bow mechanic I like more than jump shotting. Might be worth giving it a try. It's similar to the jump shot in the sense that you are looking for a certain timing, but you can actually release right click for about a second right after you finish the pull-back of the string. Then you re-hold right click to "catch" the arrow before it releases the draw. For that second, you're able to full sprint. So for chasing or just for a bit of strafing during a fight, it comes in pretty handy. Players really don't seem to expect the sudden burst of speed a lot of the time.

Actually a crosshair, makes me aim worst, I tried it, there is also crosshair V2 which is for free! Anyway using it atleast for me, made my aim worst, probably because I got used to the bow without it, and I aim with the arrow, having a crosshair just let’s me concentrate on that and then I start missing shoots, Eventough I have to say, for longer distances it helped a bit, but overall I was playing worst.
Who else had similar experiances?

bro how did you have 1490 kills in hours 1-10 but hour 100 you had 1500 no way you "trained bow for 100 hours" you just put your good clips together and acted like you got better smh

4:00 no crosshairX will not make your skills rise through the ceiling, it's a minor advantage if any at all, if this was sponsored by crosshairX I'd be like okay that makes sense, but hes not hes just lying to you for them without the payment while Crosshair V2 and other softwares are free to use and do the same thing. I find all the defaults are too large and block visuals, made my own, its just a pixel, 1 pixel. I've been using it and have no noticeable performance in skill. In fact how well you aim has very very little effect over a fight compared to positioning best for the weapons you're using or against. I also find the crosshair distracting while running, I'm looking at the dot more than my surroundings and feel like it has gotten me killed time and time again. P.S. You can Yarr Harr CrossHairX, if you know you know. (try before you buy, always support the devs if you like their work)
