Learning How to Nose Manual like Shane Oneil was a struggle. ButI glad I tried learning how to nose manual like shane oneil because I learned somethings. In order to learn how to nose manual like shane oneil you need to learn two foot positions. Watching this video to learn how to nose manual like shane oneil you'll see he places his back foot close to the bolts on the tail and the front foot covering the back two bolts. Then to learn how to nose manual like shane oneil you must shift your feet from the first foot position to the same foot position but now on the front of the board. I hope this video helps you to learn how to nose manul like shane oneil!

This was was super helpful. I’m still learning nose manuals but a trick that helped me not nose dive is this… Before you Ollie pick a spot on the ground 15ft-ish in-front of you and NEVER look down at your front foot. Keeping my eyes on that spot 15ft in-front of me the whole time while continually readjusting the spot as I roll keeps my weight over the truck and not over the nose. The second I look down at the board/foot my weight adjusts forward dropping the nose into the ground. For me, keeping my eyes forward and not looking at my foot on the board helps tremendously with the balance. Hope this helps someone out there.

Really liked this one.
The quick zoom call outs are a cool idea.

Your timing for this video is amazing. I just started working on this too! I got my first nose manual on a mani pad on Tuesday. What made it click for me was focusing on lifting my back leg to make room for the tail to come up, like you said. 👍

This was super interesting, I haven't seen many trick tips on manuals. I look forward to practicing these.

No cap, this went from 0/10 nose manuals on the 20ft long mani pad, to about 7/10 the day after watching this video. My foot position was so whack beforehand.

Love these videos, never can get enough of them.
Your analyses keep getting better too. Please continue.
Would love a vid about a nollie/fakie back heel.

Been struggling getting nose manuals back as an old man. Perfect timing thanks!! Slappys can you get ‘em that’s a frustrating one that we could use a hack breakdown on.

another thing i would add is that to do them onto higher stuff you need to be able to stand up into a nose manny because of how bent your legs are when you ollie onto high ledges. being able to transfer your weight to your front foot the moment you land is what locks you into the nose manny whereas with regular mannys i feel like the lock in almost happens the second BEFORE you land in one.

break down George Puollos tip on frontside flips, I'd like to hear your thoughts on his approach. Or go classic and break down the Jason Lee treflip

A trick I would love to see is the manual pivot. There are nearly no trick tips on this one and it seems incredibly hard to learn compared to other tricks.

I can't Tr or heelflip, but I can manual pretty damn good. Tail or nose.
The tip I usually give people who come up to me, is to try to keep your head straight above your front foot.
So lean as little as possible.

More often than not, my setup feels hard to find a cozy manual / nose manual spot. Usually when i get a board that is awesome at manuals, it lacks in other areas. Sucks lol.

I think there's something wrong with me. With nose manuals i much prefer and find it easier to have my hips slightly ahead of my head. Also my trail leg bend is more towards the tail rather than like Shane O'Neil bend the knee towards the nose. (They look more like a fakie manual but switch).

Try Shane's switch tre or double tre
