Way to combat this, don’t put your name in the blocklist or put in a whole lot of random names in the blocklist to throw them off guard

These comments are how bot accounts establish a clean history. If a brand new account starts spamming it's going to be auto-banned fast. But if an account has months of comments that nobody has ever reported, the automods think it's a legit account and the actual spam comments get past the filter much more easily. That's why these name bot accounts are always brand new while the mr beast scam bots are always much older. What we're seeing are mr beast bots at the first stage of their life cycle.

i think an easy fix (if they are trying to phish for names) is to add miscellaneous names to your blocked words list

having your _actual_ name blocked can help, but yes it lets the bots grab your name by process of elimination. BUT if you have 14 fake first names and 14 fake last names all blocked, you could broaden that pool greatly and cripple this strange attempt at information phishing
