They already do that in Arkansas. If you have a disability and receive SSI or SSDI you will be exempt from the work requirement

what if you are disabled and cannot work

This conflicts with the current guidelines for those over 60. Also anyone on disability should be exempted.

Does this apply for SSI disability. I am unable work. That's why I'm on SSI because I'm unable to work and if I do, my SSI would be cut

It is no surprise at all. I remember years ago in Michigan, people were required to work so many hours in order to receive their allotment of food stamps.
