GOOD NEWS for California: The $60 in free monthly produce from places like "Mother's Nutrition Center" came back two months ago and will continue until funding runs out, which is expected to happen soon. So if we run there this upcoming week, we can probably take advantage of it. MNC also has a free milk program. Skim or 1% cow milk, not sure if it's hormone-free.
(I wish the BenefitsCal website had announced the return of the produce offer. I first heard of it last spring as it was being cancelled the first time, so I never traveled to a MNC. Sigh...)

Is there a list of the items you can get at different stores in Colorado? I know they have dollar for dollar match at the farmers market. I think the limit is $25 EBT=$50 purchase power. I didn't know there was anything in the winter.

8:22 It's not as hard as you think to steal data off a chipped card. In order to protect the data you need to keep the card in what is essentially a small Faraday cage. Otherwise someone with the right tools can steal the data just by being in close proximity to your card. There are wallets now that block the RFID signals. These are acting as a Faraday cage.
