Great video! Yes, please explore more about turning a pure website into a business. Creating a product is not hard but creating one that people will buy is not easy. Essentially, product market fit is a crucial thing to figure out before putting in any effort in the creating process, I think. Would love more insights on that! Keep up the good work, guys!

Yes about generating products! And also, what if you're still a small fry, you have some traffic, 20k maybe, how to diversify traffic, how to earn more from a small site and more email marketing series. Basically, how can small website owners cope and thrive in this very competitive environment, without relying on Google. Thanks in advance!

Still listening but had to comment:
Since 2010, I’ve always thought, ‘you have to have your own ‘thing’. Product, service etc. Product is a big world (physical, course, tool or app as they’re called now etc etc).

In fact, the first person I learned SEO from, was someone teaching it (since the mid-2000’s) because they’d learned it themselves IN ORDER TO sell their course (cd rom and physical manual) in a legal niche. They taught the importance of quality content etc way back then (when others were building those micro niche sites) in order to SELL something, way back then.

The good advice has always been there...along with those who try and make money from the ‘window’ of opportunity before google catches up.

It was a blessing when google got rid of the spam micro niche sites that people were doing.

It will be a blessing (IMO) when I google ‘best such and such for x’ and I know longer see a site that gives me reviews where the content creator (the site owner or some cheap writer they’ve hired) has never seen or used the product; has no expertise in the subject matter etc (yet probably thinks of their site as an authority site). Good! I hope they all die out.

When I google, ‘best stock broker to trade emerging markets’ I don’t want an AI answer, nor some, ‘content site’ answer. I want an answer from someone who trades stocks in emerging markets, has used several brokers, and has some strong opinions to help guide me.

Conversely, if I want a site (a real business) - I’d better offer the same kind of value/ uniqueness/expertise.

In case I didn’t make myself clear: I consider MANY of the Amazon review/other reviews/ and Ad based sites as basically no different to the spammy crap the micro niche guys were doing 15 years ago.

I can’t believe some are thinking about having a product as a new idea/way forward. It’s only ever been the best way (at least to feel good about yourself!)

Now, back to the video :)

PS I’m usually mild mannered and don’t have strong opinions, so I made an exception in this comment :)

Now, back to the video :)

When the supply of ai-written content is infinite, verified content of the brands with the highest quality will be valuable whether that content is human-generated or ai-generated. Blockchain could be valuable for establishing brand provenance, but also at least for a while, audio and video will be more valuable because ai-generated audio and video don't compete with human-generated audio/video yet.
