God Of War Ragnarok - All Kratos Stories Of His Past In Greece with Atreus, Mimir and Freya

God of War Ragnarök is an upcoming action-adventure video game developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It is scheduled to be released worldwide on November 9, 2022, for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It will be the ninth installment in the God of War series, the ninth chronologically, and the sequel to 2018's God of War. Loosely based on Norse mythology, the game will be set in ancient Scandinavia and feature series protagonist Kratos and his teenage son Atreus. Serving as the finale to the Norse era of the series, the game will cover Ragnarök, a series of events that bring about the end of days, and depicts the deaths of some of the Norse gods, which was foretold to happen in the previous game after Kratos killed the Æsir god Baldur.

Freya: "That's the most dangerous and irresponsible thing I've ever heard."

Kratos: "I got like 7 more for ya sit tight."

Imagine if Kratos told this to Freya about his first family and added it after the end of his story "their ashes, i am wearing them."

I like how Mimir mentions PlayStation AllStars Battle Royale and Kratos says "I would not speak of this"

Freya: "You know? You think you can understand the pain of losing a child?"

Kratos: 'Breathes in.'

The IMMEDIATE switch in tone when kratos tells her hes lost a child before....that entire dialogue is heartbreaking and a real testament to just how good the voice acting is. God this game is so good...

I like how in every situation Freya thinks that her life is so bad and then Kratos just stomps on it

For anyone wondering why Kratos still has ashen skin and blades of chaos, they are both cursed to never leave him, even if his homeland was destroyed. The magics are not the magics of his homeland, but primordial magic.

I can't believe these gods knew of kratos but never knew the depths of his story.. especially freya hahaha the shock when she heard kratos was the one who killed his own family and the reason why olympus was burnt to the ground was priceless hahahahaha

Freya: "You're trying to play at my sympathy in hopes I let you live."
Kratos: "No, I am playing at your sympathy so I wont be forced to kill you when you try to kill me.

I love how pissed he gets when Freya orders him to just shut up and kill things. He can take any insult or transgression, but not that.

I really appreciate how much patience Kratos has for Freya

When Kratos explains his late daughter to Freya, I like how that wasn’t even the saddest part of the story. He managed to get them back but he had to use all his strength to push his daughter away so he could stop Persephone

I like to imagine that at some point after the game, Kratos keeps telling them stories of him being... well, Kratos from the old games... and Freya keeps one-upping the "That's the most dangerous and irresponsible thing I've ever heard."
To the point where it becomes their version of "Invulnerable to all threats, physical or magical!"

They are lucky he didn't mention where the "Ghost Of Sparta" title comes from, it's already horrible to be responsible for your family's own death, but to have their ashes become part of you as a reminder and curse, to be named after it...that's different. They don't need to think about that everytime they look at him

next game there needs to be a "brother, you are from a temperate climate yet your complexion is so pale..." conversation.

When Kratos told Frey to never tell him to kill again, I almost heard the "old" Kratos come out in his voice.
