So…it’s not where the ball goes near the strike zone or not but where the catcher frames it. Okay, good to know. Oh yeah, there didn’t seem to be one pitch that was actually a strike.

The Royals end a lot of games on called strikes outside the zone I guess lol

Some of those are just really good pitches.

There is no "strike zone" you can put a box over. The strike zone is: over the plate, between the knees and shoulders of the individual batter. Would that computer generated box be in the same spot if Shaq was at the plate? All of the calls look close enough to me.

a lot of these calls are actually strikes though borderline

Some umps can't call balls and strikes. and they ruin a game and cost teams wins.
