Yello, I was around 10 years old when I first started listening to you. All your songs have touched me, I’ve shared your music with friends, family, and even teachers, so they could see the deep impact your music has, and why I was so connected with it. When you came out with “My vote don’t count”, Is when I decided that I wanted to pursue law, and speak out about how the system is against black people, and how a lot of people aren’t aware how crooked the system is. And then not long after that you came out with “Impossible game” and I was sure that I was going to be a lawyer, and hopefully a supreme court justice, to try to make a difference for my people in the world. I’m now 16 years old, in my junior year of highschool, still pursuing law, and listening to every song you drop, and I just want to thank you for the impact you’ve made in music and in my life, please never stop what you’re doing, because believe it or not you are making a difference, and you are reaching the youth as well, you’re music is life changing Yello, thank you.

Yello, I'm sorry you've had to live with the PAIN of your mom's emotional neglect. Years ago I told my mom she did not show my youngest brother love even though he adored her. Her emotional neglect was so palpable anyone could see it but her, so I spoke up. Only then did she gradually get her act somewhat together before she died. I think the sibling(s) always know and THEY have to tell their mothers the truth. Thanks for this lesson that each child must be shown parental love EQUALLY. Keep your head up, YP. You are now loved by millions, including me, and you are worthy of our love 💕💕

Ashame to say I was questioning my Faith with God. Holding onto that hate that was in stored in me at a young age. Then I found the song Monsters and it made me see things differently and especially when you talk about forgiveness and how it’s easier said then done. Your music is so powerful I avoid some songs like the song “Christians” especially since I know my faith wasn’t right with God but when I did finally take time to listen to it, it touched me deeply. You talk about a lot of real stuff and don’t sugar code things like in the song “DEADBEAT” and “PAIN” It’s amazing how wonderful your lyrics are and now that my older brother was murdered I’m just clinging onto your lyrics more. So thank you a lot. Like I mean a lot.
