I find a simple paint brush combined with a spectacle cloth (both under 2 dollars) incredibly useful to keep your gear dust- and fingerprint-free.

The USB Gooseneck light mention here in the comments is one thing I can absolutely suggest as well, great for those lack-of-lighting booths. Just plug it into one of the CDJ's USB ports and you're no longer depended on the equipement LED's as only light source!

I’ll add a USB powered gooseneck lamp. DJing in dark/dim booths is a pain

Oh and I always pack vinyl spray, a microfiber cloth and a needle brush.

There is also 3rd type of "headphone": in ear monitors.
I get sweaty ear and head when wearing on- and over-ear headphones for more than 30 minutes. So when I'm playing music late at night at home mixing on the "headphone" only, i uses in ear monitors. I started using the IEM-100 Pro from Sennheiser, same maker as the HD-25 which I also have, to have a very nice fidelity for EQ mixing; I find it actually better than the HD-25. But this in-ear lack the umph in the bass compared to HD-25. But mainly excel at very nice flat and accurate sound for EQ mixing. It's also modular, with a bluetooth module available. So it's now also my daily driver for outside listening music without wires, but same sound driver signature. I hear the more expensive IEM models has better bass response.
But the IEM100 Pro is around the same price as a HD-25.

I have very good things to say about the mackie Freeplay. Battery or AC powered, app style mixer, Bluetooth, 2 1/8+XLR inputs, 1 aux line. its a little bit chunky (like a 90's boom box) but the sound is fantastic. I use it primarily for wedding ceremonies but it has come in handy as a quick backup more than a few times.

Thanks for the useful video. Could you explain a bit more about why you shouldn't combine certain types of (speaker) cables? I'm using RCF310A speakers (XLR) with my DDJ400 (RCA) via a proper adaptor cable/connection - so far at home they sound fine but i'd like to know if there's a potential for damage..

Great video. I know it’s a small point but the deck savers are polycarbonate which is more durable and flexible than acrylic! I can’t see me breaking them, they are a brilliant “boring” purchase.

Hola, me gustaria saber la referencia del parlante bluetooth pequeño, me gusta su diseño compacto y creo que es perfecto para mi setup

I love the Prime Go (fan of the prime series generally, have a prime 4 installed at my main gig) but I wish they did a go vinyl variation. Doesn't need dvs, just switchable phono inputs. It would make it a killer oversized mixer that combines digi and vinyl. I will say tho, that mixing vinyl on the prime 4 doesn't actually sound that great, bit mushy and has regular frequency drop out, presume it's a digital conversion issue. If they could address both at the same time, ima gonna need one of those.

If I'm doing a club I just go into their mixer and they have good kit but I'm doing the odd mobile gig I just go straight into the amp as it's usually rock music so I don't need to mix as it's just a crossfade jobby

You can mix XLR and TRS as they can both be used as balanced connections. TS cannot be used as balanced.

Heres a question, I've got a 500w amp and 2 150rRSM speakers, would that be enough to do a small room/party of about 100 people? You know, if I didn't push them too far?

Except the amplifier... That's missing 👀👀👀🎚️🎚️🎚️🙂🙂🙂

I use those KRKs sadly. Worst monitors ever in every way imo. The RCAs produce an incredible amount of noise. And the treble elements are super exposed. Not good for studio, not good to take out.
