So essentially, if this was Magnussen it would be +10 sec for overtaking outside of the track, +10 sec for causing a collision, +10 sec for moving under braking and at least 2 points on his license.

Max saying that you do not overtake by divebombing is the most hilarious thing. That's exactly how he overtook and defended all the time in 2020 and 2021 lol

Two most important words in this video, "frowned upon". That's ridiculous. It needs to be a clear legal or illegal. Have a rule like track limits but 3 times and then penalty.

The track limits situation at this track were much better this year but still there is too much unnecessary run off on the exit of turn 3. If there was grass or gravel we wouldn’t see drivers using it to stay ahead

Apart from all the carnage between NOR / VER the only thing I don't understand why Perez wasn't penalized for pushing Piastri off into the gravel at lap 1. I'm nor a Checo / Piastri fan, but If my memory isn't fooling me pushing ppl off at that corner was "awarded" with a 5 second time-penalty in the past. At least Norris and Perez got one there before and I belive Leclerc did so as well. However, Checo got instant Karma for doing so by damaging his sidepod and loosing some pace because of that.
I'm all about hard racing but we really need CONSISTENCY in this sport.

I am a little confused why Max has to leave space on the entry for Lando when he’s ahead, but Lando doesn’t have to leave space on the exit when he’s ahead?

F1 needs to get a proper rules enforcement system. The stewarding system is such a joke. It creates nothing but inconsistency in the enforcement of rules. Just have the same few people at every race enforce the rules. Also, the Verstappen and Norris fanatics in this comments section are ridiculous. It's just racing. Grow up and relax a bit.

A "dive bomb" is just a normal overtaking move. Since DRS, people have forgotten what they look like. 🤷‍♂️

The analysis at about the incident at 7:25 is wrong. The new guidelines this year - under which Hulkenberg was penalised in the sprint and Alonso at China - states that the overtaking car on the inside must do so without forcing the other car off at the exit. The exact wording of the guideline is “which includes fair and acceptable width for the car being overtaken from the apex to the exit of the corner”. This “I was ahead at the apex, it’s my corner” is a mindset that no longer applies in the new guidelines. It would help if those in the media doing these analysis who have a huge impact on the narrative could learn and understand the new guidelines as others will watch this and be none the wiser.

There’s no rule I hate more than “I’m ahead at the apex” drivers should be forced to leave a cars space so we can actually have some side by side through corners
