How do I measure the resistance of the wires?

my motor has 4 wires. 2 for line input +/- and other two for capacitor. When I changed the supply +/- position at reverse, no rotation changed.

I didn’t understand any of it, except that I did understand 1) how to identify the running winding wires, and 2) that I need to swap those two over. And motor is running the way I need it now thanks…

Usually we change the terminals of starting winding for the reversal of the 1Ph motors.

More over you didn't explained how to change the rotation if there are only 3 wires came out of the motor..ie :
Common
Running
Starting

The higher Resistance one is of the Running coil?
