So, with DJI launching their latest mini 3, expectations towards their upcoming mini 4 drone has grown even further. Though the mini 3 misses out on some important features such as obstacle avoidance, the mini 3 Pro does offer everything costing just a bit more. And, the excitement gets higher with the mini 4 pro. DJI is likely to bring up some more upgrades to the mini 4 pro that are not available on the mini 3 pro but should have been. Besides, we have seen people commenting on different forums about the upgrades they would love to see. So, let’s have a deeper dive into what we should expect from DJI’s one of the most popular upcoming drones, the mini 4 Pro.

Redesign of the body is likely required now especially if potential for a larger battery. Realistically you still get around 20 mins fly time with the Mini 3 pro. Pop out legs would be fantastic. I have the clip ons, aswell as propeller guards, hugely beneficial and very lightweight however takes the weight just over 249g.
A larger sensor would be amazing but I can’t complain with the Mini 3 pro quality. Only drawbacks are quick shot mode, limited availability of 4K quality.

What prevents me from upgrading to newer and better DJI drones is that DJI does not release the SKD software ( this allows 3rd party app providers to make other better and more complete apps than the standard DJI Fly app) for a couple years after launch of new products. So I will not upgrade to Mini 3 hardware till SKD is released, let alone Mini 4 no matter how much better the new hardware is. If DJI wants to have current customers upgrade to newer and better, they need to release SKD upon launch of new product so 3rd party can work on programs asap.

I just would like it to have 1 inch sensor with 20 or at least 18 real mega pixels
For me it's ok the actual 4k 30 and 60 fps
leave the 120 fps or more if you wish for the full HD
Also y would like that be able to take 3 or 4 pics in portrait, ( l_l l_l l_l ) and join them as one ( l___l ) .
lastly hope it has less heating problems like this Mini 3 pro .

Handle water. Rain, snow, and possibly float with a turtle feature so using near the ocean wouldn’t be so dangerous.

Great visual editing on your video, but consider narrating with your actual voice, instead of another generic tts voice modulation because the tts method always results with a bland sounding, TikTok like experience which ultimately makes the video much less engaging where as if you use your real voice, it accentuates your excitement in the topic and feels genuine in long run. Definitely a lot of potential in this channel for sure!
