Best budget drone for 2024. The DJI Mini 4 Pro has 4K 100fps and omnidirectional obstacle avoidance system and the new Active Track 360. This could be the best drone ever made for the consumer. With D-Log M colour profile and Night Shots!

It is absolutely the BEST drone for both beginner and intermediate drone photographers wanting professional results. I went with the Air 3 over this because I really wanted the dual camera system and it's been a game changer for me. However, if the Air 3 wasn't within budget, I would have been just as satisfied with the Mini 4 Pro, especially with the omni and the new waypoints flight mode. This has to be the new Swiss army knife of drones due to performance, portability, and price point. Great footage!

I've been really happy with my 3 but on impulse have ordered the 4 today. 360 obstacle avoidance and the promise of a stronger signal were enough for me.

Thanks for the update. Saving my pretty pennies to upgrade from my Mini 2

That auto follow feature while riding a bike in the woods was really impressive.

Honestly, I'm embarrassed to say that I just updated to the Mini 3 from my old Spark, which had object tracking etc, but just terrible flight time and it was heavy. I'm so blown away by the Mini 3. This Mini 4 Pro seems like the pinnacle of mini drones, I just don't know how they can get any better. I'm not so worried about banging into things now that I'm much better flying the thing, but I can see where the Mini 4 Pro would be all the drone you'd ever need for nearly everything to do with creating content.

Great to see the obstacle avoidance features. The only times I have seriously crashed my mini2 is by reversing into things. My own fault by not judging distance before rotating to face my subject. Last time was against the wall of a castle when a gust of wind blew the drone against its wall.

The 120m high restriction from Starting Point in the App ruins the whole package if you want to fly in the mountains 😞 - i will send mine back.
Don't get why we didn't get the Plus version as C1 in Europe? - that would have fixed all the problems.
A dynamic height measurement (GPS- Coordinates + Height Map) would also be a good solution.
Or an option to load your drone licenses in your DJI Profile to cancel the 120 limit would be a solution.

Fantastic! My next purchase. I use my original Mini all the time to check roofs and gutters doing home inspections. While I only crashed once, I can’t tell you how much time I spend fighting with trees to get the shots I need. A 4 pro will give me the confidence to fly and focus on the house and let it worry about keeping me out of the trees.

1st timer. Thank you for the comparisons. Coming off a crashed PV 2 vision, it’s very helpful in deciding what my next unit will be.
Also you production and personality shined through.

Yes to the Air 3 over the Mini 4 pro for me. Mainly because of wind resistance. All Mini drones have problems with wind. If you have little wind resistance where you fly, then the mini is probably a great option. I live in a high wind area and chose the Air 3 mainly because of better wind resistance. The much larger batteries and the 2nd camera are added bonuses

An excellent review, and beautiful footage of the UK coast. I'm looking at the Mini 4 to upgrade from my Mini 2, which was great to learn safe flying techniques, but also to get some relatively good footage despite a super small sensor. The sensor on the Mini 4 is about twice the size of the Mini 2, with much better image quality. I would assume that DJI will at some point bring out a mini drone with a micro four thirds or even an APS-C size sensor, which will make all the current larger drones less relevant in a context of tightening drone legislation around the world. Heavier drones with larger sensors will always have a place for professional settings, where maximum stability in windy conditions is a must.

Bloody hell, that's cool. I brought the Mini pro 3 a year ago, upgraded from the first Mini... They just don't stop delivering all this mad ass gear, NICE!!!

i think bigger drones now really only are needed in windy conditions and if you want more speed other than that the mini 3 and 4 are incredible ive just upgraded from mini 3 pro to mini 4 pro

Great video. I'm planning on upgrading from the original Mavic Air which was quite resistant to crosswinds for a small drone. The newer and larger Air 3 is very tempting too, especially for wind resilience but, as a recreationalist, might not be worth the higher price tag which I'd consider but, the size for motorbike trips is a problem, making the M4P my most likely choice.

Als je de Mini 2 Pro hebt gehad en de overstap maakt naar de 4 Pro, dan weet je niet wat je gebeurt. Wat een toestel! Echt een aanrader.

You made me want to create a night video now with my 4 Pro, didn't try that feature yet. Thanks for the content! 😁
