Top 50 Craziest Judo Ippons in History.
Ippon is the true embodiment of art in motion. What could be more beautiful than a real amplitude throw for maximum score in our favorite sport. And when you add to that the importance of that throw bringing victory to the performer, it's doubly beautiful. In today's video I will show you the iconic and most spectacular throws regardless of time.

I attended Judo clases during only a month (ONLY A MONTH)and it has been useful for many years.
I remember when I fell, hitting my back. When I got up, I realized that I was completely OK. And then I saw that I had applied a Judo technique for falling. I did it authomatically.
And then I thought with gratitude, thanking My Judo Sensei.
I think that everybody should know at least a little bit of Judo or Aikido, for health protection.

This video would be much better either without commentary or with a voice

It would have been great if the presenter used judo language for the throws

Suggesting some lists of the best Judo matches in history either lists by decade or an overall list. Thanks in advance and keep it up from Puerto Rico.

I once tried to throw like an Olympian and failed. What I learned was that they're on strength, speed, and technique levels far beyond normal.

I can’t conceive how to perform 90% of these, but they’re pulling them off at speed and under pressure

It’s Teddy Ree-Near! Teddy has 3 Olympic gold medals and you don’t have him in here!

So, as someone new to Judo, what the heck is an Ippon? Sometimes it is an over-the-hip throw, sometimes it looks like they fell down together and the guy who happened to land on top won [7:56, 11:48], sometimes a guy was just pushed down [12:07], sometimes the winner goes down first and pulls the loser down on top of him [5:10].

This video is better with the sound muted so we don’t have to hear the robot mangle Japanese terms.

What is the name of the one with the belt grab at about 5:10?

Hum... You forgot a lot, for me. Kim Young Jeon or Angelo Parisi, for example, and a lot of others... Maybe Riner too... But it's only my opinion...

I have had the good fortune to be taught Nakaya version of ippon seoi nage many moons ago.
Very difficult to apply in competition

Come back after watching Men's under 60kg final in 2008 Beijing Olympic. That defines what real power slam is.

No Teddy Riner, the greatest of all time. No point, and the robotic voice is horrible.
