Danya, just wanna say congrats on the NYTimes puzzle column. Everyone, please check it out! You deserve all the accolades and recognition for your astute and approachable instruction. You always balance the didactic with the entertaining and I'm very excited to see what you do with the column. Also, really appreciate you highlighting Josh Waitzkin in the first puzzle; I've admired him for years and see a tremendous affinity between his ethos and your teaching style. Ever Onward and Upward, Sensei!

Danya only ever beating 3 2700+ players is one hell of an eye-opener of how difficult classical is at the highest level. That's crazy.

This is it. This is the one. I know you're both busy with your individual success', but I hope for many more collaborations between you two in the future. The dynamic is as quality as I had imagined. Thanks Danya & Levy. (on the low, maybe some bts talks on series ideas & scheduling would hopefully be happening sometime)

in all seriousness, Levy trained himself based on fear and he relies on it too much for guidance. Danya comes from the russian school of chess so fear was never an option.

Wow, this guy you're teaching today really has talent. I bet after a few years of training he could break 1600.

This is a great potential series. Would love to see this type of video with you and John Bartholomew

I love how Levy from whom I learned lots of things in chess, is himself getting trained by a GM.

It’s funny how Daniel makes Levy look like a noob…

Both good youtubers, but Daniel is much better at teaching and always impresses with his enthusiasm.

This was awesome. Its amazing to see even though levy is a IM and would plow through any of us casuals in a game, that there is still so much of a gap left to reach gm, and that he has so much to learn relative to dani. Love this.

Oh man. I love these coaching session videos. I can pause the video and learn along with your student. Would love to see one of these with Sagar Shah as well. Keep doing your thing Danya

I really enjoy when Danya has lessons with other streamers because it illustrates the skills gap between an IM and a GM.

Levy has forgotten more about chess than I will ever know, and seeing stuff like this really makes you understand how impressive it is to get to the level that Danya is at.

I love Naroditsky and that’s why I’d like to see the cameras bigger than that humongous GM Daniel Naroditsky banner.

This was beautiful. Seeing GM giving so much to IM. A warrior working to create stronger opponents for himself

I love it when we get to basically join a pro coaching session. Danya always brings such interesting exercises.

I am often in positions which I think are winning(and importantly afterward the engine agrees), but I don't know how to make progress, and then end up blundering or slowly giving away my advantage. This discussion was helpful even though the positions are above my level.
