Minecraft Bedrock is the same as Minecraft for Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Windows 10, Windows 11, iOS/Android (Pocket Edition), and Chromebook. Also Minecraft for smart fridge of course.

Honestly Basalt Deltas get a lot of hate but it is a really unique biome with good ambience

im ok with drops as long as they start filling in the gaps the bigger updates have left. concrete and other missing block variants of stairs and slabs, updating the other metal blocks in line with copper, biome updates for old biomes, and finishing off the biome list from the original update plan. just the concrete variants alone would help builders so much with the lack of wood color variants.

Mojang: We looked at willow trees for the Pale Garden, but we won’t model them after willow trees.

So disappointing for me because Willow Trees are my favorite type of tree

Very disappointing in this drop if they don’t change the tree generation to be unique / interesting. I also really wanted a fog generating flower / plant. The biome needs more plants in general though.

Mojang biggest problem with biomes is that they want everything to look like it's has been designed in 2014, they should just go all out with their ideas and focus on the fun part like Minecraft Dungeon did instead of doing self sabotage over and over. "The pale garden needs to be similar than the dark oak forest". My brother in christ.. it's a fantasy game.. you makes the rules! The Pale Garden is not even out it's already looking painfully outdated

It would be so easy for them to just..
Add fog

The game has it built in already

And yet they just choose not to for no reason

people hate the basalt delta? that's one of my favorite biomes. it's so atmospheric compared to most other ones.

i'm not personally bothered by the trees tbh, i think they're fine. i think the pale gardens have a great atmosphere now, i feel like they could still use something-mainly fog and some reason to go there other than more decorative material sets that don't match anything-but it's a nice looking biome that i enjoy seeing in my world and will likely make a house in when it's more finalized. if i had to change something though mainly i would make the pale gardens generate across bigger swathes because all the ones i've found so far have been a tiny 10 block wide strip of grey up a mountainside, and i would make it so the creaking's eyes glow the same way the eyeblossoms do.

Ok, so the reason they aren't shaped like willow trees, is because they aren't willow trees. They said in the video that they were going to base them on willows, but then they saw Spanish moss, and they thought that was perfect. Spanish moss can't grow on willows, but you know what it can grow on? Oak. Specifically Live Oak trees. They have shorter wide trunks, that branch off in many directions. They are often used in horror movies based in the southern coast of USA, which is the only place they are found. They have dark brown to black bark, and while not white, it is the lightest oak color there is, which does make it perfect for the pale garden.

In Minecraft bedrock I noticed whenever I would place a piece of armour in the top right of a shulcer box I would gain an amethyst armour trim for some reason, I don’t know if this is Xbox or my world only though

Minor correction: Mojang did a minor edit on the 1.17 panorama (to remove some torches around the geode).

How can Toycat be wrong about Panorama changes like 3 times over here? It's laid out for both Java and Bedrock in a very detailed way on the Wiki. Several details he pointed out are just not a thing, most notibly the "they never adjusted a new panorama later", it happened like one or two times mid-development and sometimes also happened after a full release of a panorama. The garden likely won't have fog, but it's not because they "essencially locked it in with the panorama", there is no actual precedent saying that they can't just change the panorama.

I understand why everyone wants the tree generation to change, but I personally really like the idea that the pale garden is some altered dark oak forest where an emergent natural phenomenon changed part of the biome.

I personally would implement different pale oak tree generation in a different biome entirely, the “pale plains” or “sparse pale garden” or “pale fields”. This would be a pale biome more similar in generation to the plains but the trees are much smaller, less sparse, and actually shaped like a willow tree.

We could also have a “pale lush caves” essentially a lush cave biome but with the vegetation being the pale variant, that only generates in the stone layer and usually underneath a surface pale biome. Much like azalea trees, finding a lone pale oak tree randomly in a non-pale biome would indicate a pale lush cave below.

The pale garden generation as implemented is just fine for the creative direction of being an offshoot of dark oak much like how cherry grove was on offshoot of grove. But the pale content has more potential than to just be that.

While I think building blocks are nice, not giving anything in the biome any utility outside of just visual blocks is really disappointing. Not everything needs to have a use but there should be something to make going to the biome actually useful. Maybe giving the flowers a type of blacklight torch that lights up an area without affecting mob spawn

I’ve never thought that changing the trees and adding fog was necessary.
They loosely based the Pale Oak Trees on willow trees but not completely. The hanging moss does what they wanted it too.
And fog isn’t the vibe they were going for.
It’s a quite almost dead looking forest that’s all gray grass and trees everywhere you look. Limiting the vision would ruin the point. It’s not a moist humid forest, it’s dry, *creaky*
The fog idea was dumb.
They’re making the game, not us. They make the game in a way that makes as many players happy as they can manage but they have their own creative vision that we shouldn’t ruin.

We don’t want updates more often we want more involved with the update that’ll actually get some attention
