The Plague is 1947 novel by the French Algerian absurdist philosopher Albert Camus, in which he describes a town seized by a disease and forced to go into lockdown. However, the story of The Plague isn't of a physical disease, but a philosophical one.

Great video, i was just scrolling through videos regarding Camus and i came upon this one and clicked it since it was very short. The editing is really great and while i do think that you weren't able to really encapsulate the meaning of the book within this video in a higher clarity due to its shortness, i'm still amazed by your ability to present the premise of the book, its main ideas and so on and make them somewhat clear in such a short time. You should do longer videos

I read it. To the end. I never saw anything higher than face value in it. No metaphor, nothing. Just a story about how horrible it is when there's a plague. And jesus, did it go on and on. Im not very clever. I will stick to scifi lasers and huge sharks. 😔
