What is Albert Camus' absurdism? Shortly explained here:)
About Camus:
Albert Camus was a French philosopher, author, and journalist, known for his existentialist works and contributions to literature. Born in 1913 in Algeria. He is best known for his novels such as "The Stranger" (1942) and "The Plague" (1947), as well as his philosophical essays like "The Myth of Sisyphus" (1942), where he explored themes of absurdity, the meaning of life, and the human condition. Camus rejected the label of existentialist, preferring to be known as an absurdist, as he believed that life's lack of inherent meaning led to an inherent absurdity. Despite this, his works often delve into themes of morality, justice, and the search for meaning in an indifferent universe.
