Thank you! You switched me. Just started Adv Math 1st (can't believe we are there already!!), but I don't have the answer key, and you said use 2nd anyway. So I just ordered it. Very timely and helpful info - thank you!

Is the 2nd and 3rd editions for algebra 1/2 identical aside from the lesson number references on each problem?

Hello :). My oldest is in a 54 1st edition book. I really liking the first editions from what I'm seeing in them. On the shelf, I recently collected the 1st editions of 65, 76, and 87 with the answers books (not any solutions manuals)....and then I just found the 1st editions of "teachers editions" (answers in the back) of algebra 1/2, algebra 1, and algebra 2 (in the mail right now). But now I'm worried about you saying we will need a solutions manual for 7/6 and up...because I doubt I'll find them because of the editions I bought. Eek. Any advice?

Previously, we were told not to use Saxon because it didn't have a separate geometry and therefore you couldn't put a geometry course on the student's high school transcipt. Any insight on how to handle this? I would really like to use Saxon.

Would the Algebra 2, 2nd Edition, still work without the reference numbers? I got mine for really cheap at a homeschool resource center yesterday.

Any idea where I can find the PDF version/ebook. I am looking for Advanced Mathematics - An incremental Development by Saxon

In all books starting with Algebra 1/2, the answers will appear in the back, but only for odd numbered problems.

Art Reed says the 2nd and 3rd editions are higher level than the 1st and that whichever one you start with to stay consistent throughout but recommends the 2nd or 3rd...Matthew said he used the first for everything...I've done 3rd edition 54 and my girls hated it, but when we switched to 1st, they made quick headway...I thought 1st was superior after that but Art Reed's counsel has me wondering...

Also, advice on skipping the Additional Lessons section at the end of the Algebra books? Okay to do the 110 and be done?

I went to your website to find the ISBNs for the books. There was a link, but when I clicked there wasn't anything there. Do you have the list of ISBNs or do you know where I can find them? Thanks.

I thought that Math 87 was prealgebra.

I actually think that a calculator is an advantage although I know how to do linear regression by hand 🤌
