2025 iPhone Buyer's Guide - (Don't Waste $500)

These iPhones all look similar, yet this one is almost double the price of this one. So besides an extra two cameras on the back, what differences do you actually get by spending an extra $500? Well I’ve been using each of these iPhones heavily since launch and many of the differences are less obvious than you might think. In this video, I want to break down all the differences and help you decide if it’s worth it to upgrade, and perhaps most confusingly, if the iPhone 15 is a better deal than the iPhone 16e!

I think the 15 is peak Apple design. They softened the sharp edges and (finally!) added USB C. I have both a 16 and a 15 as my work phone and I prefer the older design as I keep pushing the action and camera control buttons by mistake on the 16 and it's a major pain.

I’ll be honest with ya, the iPhone 16e is surprisingly smooth and have a much better battery life/wireless connection stability compared to the rest of the iPhones on the list.

I have the 15, and absolutely love it. I had the XR for years, it was also a great phone.

I just went from a 13 Pro to a 16 Plus. I don’t take a lot of pictures and I personally cannot see the difference between the 120 and 60 hertz displays. I wanted a larger screen and it does seem to perform better. The battery life is also a big plus.

The more and more I see it the iphone 16E seems like a decent deal. Iphone SE3 with 128gb was $480. I think 120 more got it a lot of features but versus android it's not a great deal. My OP12R was 500 new (got it for 350+tax a month after it released) and it's honestly quite good. No good IP rating and wireless charging. But the screen is smooth, extremely bright, etc. Charging and battery life is great. And I'm sure it takes better photos than the 16E and is overall a smoother phone to use

Not putting MagSafe on a 2025 iPhone is at this point is like not putting a flash for the camera on a new phone. I may not always use the magsafe for charging just like I don't always use my camera flash for taking pictures...but I use the Flashlight often and same here with the magsafe, I use the magnets often for my car mount, selfie stick/tripod & magnetic ring kickstand. Total dealbreaker.

15 is sweet spot regarding price/quality.
But if you don't care about wide camera and 120Hz then 16e is no Brainer.
I will upgrade to 16e from my 12 pro max.
