One small note about language: Yes, Polish can be challenging and nobody expects an expat to be fluent. But you can gain a lot of brownie points by learning and using just a few common daily-life phrases. It's a sign of respect for local culture which most people will appreciate a lot.

Half of the upvotes are Poles who clicked them after hearing "Central European country" (myself included).

Nice video overall. Happy to see you enjoy Poland!

Definitely visit Kraków, one of the most beautiful old Polish cities.

Nice summary. I am humbled by your opinion and hope more foreigners feel the same about my country. We welcome everyone who respects our values and culture.

Good video! I was stationed in Poznan, Poland with the US Army last year (2023). Excellent experience with military for work and exploratory travel for leisure.

Western women- materialistic? You are joking, right? I think number one are Chinese and this is well known fact all around the world. Next will be Filipino and Thai. Poland is safe because there is still relatively low number of new comers from certain parts of the world.

That emphasis on CENTRAL EUROPEAN was sooo satisfying

As a Pole, living majority of my life in US, Poland to me is a "feel good, at peace" kind of country. However, I do agree with a bit of melancholy side to it. No wonder Chopin composed his pieces with that kind of vibe :) Also, weather in Poland can be somewhat challenging to some. Nevertheless, enjoy yourself and others when staying in my motherland :)

Tank you for talking good about my country, some people don't understand how SAFE it is in Poland, I live in UK for 20 year's... and seriously, I go back to Poland, my country when I get retirement, I knows English people who moving to Poland because is clean, safe, and beautiful... because Poland let people in who wants to integrate with our culture, or respect our culture, no illegal immigrants... this is the first and the main thing by keeping your country SAFE... I'm happy people like you are really find my country as their home ... good luck bruv ... :) Britain let to many people in who destroying their country... sad ... bit people start waking up and see what is going on...

I'm a new subscriber to your channel. Based on the outcome of the upcoming American "selection" I will keep Poland on my radar as a possible future destination. I admire the leader Dominik who doesn't put up with ANY b.s. I heard the medical is a bit not so good but maybe it's better in the capital of Warsaw. I am doing my best to prepare - study and certify to work remotely but of course would take work that is not remote. I'm not lazy. I like cleanliness and order and low crime rate is for me as well. It's "crunch time" for USA. I'm very grateful to have been raised, at the time in a safe FREE country....even if it might have all been an illusion, it worked for most of my years here. When I leave America and I feel God will make a way for me if it's meant for me to leave I will NOT miss this country. I will however miss the country I was raised in. This country is no longer FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, it is turning Marxist and from what I was told by my mother about communism, I refuse to live under a regime. Many Americans have absolutely NO idea what is coming to this country. I strongly feel for a few years it will turn communist but it won't last....it never does. Grateful that I found your channel.

It may be possible to live in Poland without knowing Polish, but if you plan to stay here for more than a year, it would be advisable to learn at least the basics, because Poles won’t start treating you like one of their own, but rather as a foreigner who is just passing through. They will think that you simply don’t want to integrate with the local community, and that is generally not well perceived.

It's nice that you like our country, but if you want to stay there longer or settle down here, I suggest you seriously decide to learn our language. Poles are very proud of their language, if you want to live in Poland and be respected and feel like you belong, learning the language is the basis. Without knowing the language, you can live as long as you want, but you will never be treated as "ours" and you will often be looked down upon. You don't have to be a virtuoso in Polish, even if you will make mistakes or had an accent, you will be incomparably better received, than not speaking Polish at all.

Jeżeli lubisz spędzać czas aktywnie polecam jechać w góry, szczególnie te mniej oblegane: Pieniny, Karkonosze czy Bieszczady. Piękne są również zamki Dolnego Śląska, czy jeziora Mazurskie.

I have always wanted to visit the city of Gdańsk, Poland. The city always reminds me of Novigrad from The Witcher

5:22 You said that English level is high in Poland, but is that not only in the capital, Warsaw(where you live) but also Krakow? And beside Warsaw, would you say cities like Krakow and Wrocław are also good for dating East slavic(Ukrainian) women?

You will never understand Polish spirit if you dont learn the language. You are just a foreigner, but you will never learn the deep truths that all of you guys all of the sudden love Poland. But you dont get it why. Unless you learn the language and deeply rooted feeling of trauma we all have. The only language that come close to expressing the deep feelings, but not in the same way is Portuguese
