I'm primarily a AX3 player, but I've had a D20 for some time now and I love it. I have an EVH 5150 III head that I rarely turn on. When I jones for real amp feels or want to monkey around with all my pedals the D20 is killer. Highly recommended!

One of my freinds was using a G20 for a few years and it was amazing!

One thing that isn't immediately apparent is that you can run the Torpedo IR out of the XLR *at the same time* you're plugged into a cab with the speaker output. I have a 2x12 cabinet I made that I run the speaker output into at the same time I have the Cab IR with a totally different cab setup to the board.
Can't say enough about how much I like the D20

Really want to try one of these! Modelers are great, but there is something about the way a real amp swallows up effects running straight into it that I don't think they have fully captured yet.

Love this one guys! I agree amps all the way! I use a D20 in Stereo with a Suhr PT15 IR for most occasions live and recording. You guys should get that Suhr as well!

I've been playing a 60W SuperSonic that's mic'd in an Isocab off stage and DI'd to the house. I can't imagine playing another way, though I'm sure I could adapt. I had to bring in my 15W Blues Jr. when the SS was getting some work done and while serviceable, it was a noticeable difference in the fullness 60W of pushed air makes. The Revv's sound great!

If I had the money, I could see myself using this instead of hauling my Mesa Mark V back and forth. You guys make that sound sooo good. IDK if I could make it sound that good. Nothing about this made me think you were paid to say nice things.

These remind me of what Line6 was trying to do with the DT25 and 50 back in the day with Line 6 hybrid modeling combined with a true Bogner designed tube amp.

Super curious about this as my stereo rig can get pretty loud on a Sunday morning. I’m running a Paul Reed Smith Two Channel Custom 20 on one side and a Tyler Amp Work HM-30 on the other. We’re in a large space but noise is always an issue

Here’s a request, since this has an option to go direct out using loaded IR’s, would you be willing to capture the amp pre speaker?

I know you don’t do that with your tone match/captures typically using the OX box because I know you’ve said in a video(can’t recall which) that it just doesn’t work as well as capturing the speaker. But I feel this amp is different, if you could capture the amp with the capture tech pedals (I use QC) that would be soooo cool. I am considering buying a D20 for myself, but would love to try it out!

Very tough to describe.
However, the word you're looking for is "Wapoosh".

*Wapoosh:*
waah-pooSH
_verb_
an imperceptible and mostly inaudible feeling ascribed to the bloom of a musical note, primarily in tube/valve amplifier circuits.
_"John Mayer doesn't like modelers because they can't yet produce the proper 'wapoosh'."_

😁

Hey guys, so I’m a Helix user and have been using your presets at both church and at gigs with my cover band, but I’ve been looking at setting up an analog board and an amp. Have been considering a Fender 65 DRRI and the D20 and D25. Curious which one you guys would go with? Honestly I think for me it’s between the D25 or the Fender just for simplicity of not having to carry the head and a cab to gigs. Would love your feedback. Thanks

Nice gold pickguard upgrade on the MJT. Where'd you get it?

Ive watched many videos on these amps and Ive yet to hear one of these D20s sound good with drive or distortion pedals. They sound thin and anemic.

I've been saying for so long, the future is not digital, it's hybrid. Heck tonight I'm playing a conference using my Marshall 1987 and a Captor X.

Absolutely. Put my.AC15 at the back of the church on the lowest setting and still the keys player complains 😂

For the d20 you need a cabinet to hear it?

Can you use a XLR splitter to run a “dual mono” esc setup direct?
