The phrase Novus ordo seclorum (Latin for "New order of the ages"; English: /ˈnoʊvəs ˈɔːrdoʊ sɛˈklɔərəm/; Latin pronunciation: [ˈnɔwʊs ˈoːrdoː seːˈkɫoːrũː]) is the second of two mottos that appear on the reverse (or back side) of the Great Seal of the United States.
