Forgot to talk about the arm rests! They’re rubber, but pretty dang firm.

Just passing along an update: I bought the Ergo3D about 17 months ago and still using and loving the chair. Lots of hours working (and playing) in this chair and it still doesn't show wear and tear, it is still supportive and still gives me hours and hours of pain-free computer desk work. Thanks Ahnestly for a great recommendation (and the affiliate discount was a nice bonus).

I bought this chair on Amazon 2 years ago and still love it! I didn't wanna spend $600 plus for a premium chair. This chair fits my needs and still is comfortable as ever. Just fyi Im 5'9 and weigh 215 and no issues sagging so far. I also sit in this chair around 2 to 4 hours a day so that maybe why. Thanks for your honest review

Just finished installing this chair like an hour ago. Thank you so much for reviewing this chair! I watched your 2022 recommendations and this one stood out to me. I’m loving it so far! So glad you made this video 😊

I had this chair for 6 years and recently upgraded to the Logitech all black embody. (Definitely an upgrade), however for the price this chair really is great and did well for 6 whole years. Only issues were the armrests hurt like hell so you need 3rd party soft pads like aloudy, and it gets squeaky after about 4 years and even more so after 6 years. It really is a pretty great budget ergo/office/gaming chair.

I was going to pick up the Nouhaus Rewind, but after seeing the video you made about it, I ended up picking this chair. I have no regrets. Thank you!

Bro, I have been contemplating on getting this chair because of your review. But at $370, price seemed pretty steep. After waiting around, I managed to snag $166 after discounts/coupons. Then I noticed after it had already been delivered, that Amazon had a “frequently returned item” notification on the page.

Now I’m wondering if it’s being returned because people don’t feel that it’s worth the full price they bought it for, it’s just not a good chair at all, or is defective?

It’s still in the box, but yea.. that’s hell of a discount I got it for. I am within the height range you mentioned, but I’m around 180-190ish lbs. I saw in another video that you recommended 150lbs max

I'm going to imagine this is an ergonmic lawn chair for your desk, the mesh gives me that vibe

Your reviews are always top notch, man. You should have at least 3x the amount of subscribers you have.

One of my biggest problems with mesh chairs is that they eventually warp and lose support. Of course, padding crumples and loses support over time, too, but at least there's something solid underneath to support your weight once it wears down. There's gotta be a way to replace the mesh or fix it throughout the life of the chair.

I’ve had this chair for two years and really like it. My only complaint - about any chair, really - is that I like to sit where my desk and arm pads end up being lined up and I wish I could move the armpads out of the way completely so I can get closer to my desk without having to reach forward in the right amount where my trapezius muscles stay slightly under tension for a long time.

Dude! So glad you mentioned that foam pad at the front of the seat of the chair. NOBODY ELSE DID. I had purchased this chair last month. I used it for about 2 hours TOTAL, and then disassembled and boxed it to return/refund.
My main gripe was that foam pad that was digging into my under-thighs, which is NO BUENO for circulation. I'm 5'11"(160lbs)...and that really killed my short experience with this chair.
...and you're also the only reviewer who pointed out the height difference between the smaller casters and the rollerblade casters. When I first assembled the chair, I installed the rollerblade casters. But when I sat down, with the lowest seat height, my shoeless heels were not on the ground. My toes were touching the ground, but not my heels...which again is bad for circulation. So I replaced the rollerblade casters with the cheap hard plastic casters, then my heels were able to firmly rest on the floor. Again, NONE of the other video reviews for this chair mentioned either one of those issues(which really ruined my experience with this chair).
In the future, I'm just going to test chairs IN-PERSON...or read your reviews instead. You totally nailed this review. Wish I would have watched it before purchasing this chair.
So yeah, anybody shorter than 5'10"(without shoes) may need to place something under their feet if they seek to have a proper 90-degree bend in the knee while sitting. I was so disappointed in this chair, as I was REALLY hoping that I would love it.

The third thing that killed my experience was that I couldn't rest completely upright. I need a chair that I can lean back into, but still completely upright...because I need that posture for much of my work(8 hours per day).

So would you happen to know chairs off-hand that would work for someone about 6ft in height, and 160lbs...where I can rest in a perfect upright position...and has better leg circulation(no hard foam digging into under-thighs)?

Thank you for your wonderful review, it's really helpful. I will start my WFH journey, I definitely need an ergonomic chair. I have a question, I am only 5.2 tall, would it be fitted on my back? Can I reach the headrest?

Thanks for the review. I had considered this chair and the Workpro Quantum 9000 as my 2 best budget choices as I really wanted a Herman miller Areon but there was no way I could afford a new one. I was able to try out the Workpro at a local Officemax so I ended up with that one. So far I'm happy with it.

I had this, I find the lumbar lacking, non adjustable and the chair on the stem wobbles a bit more than I would like to the point of leaning to one side a bit now. I am 5'11 and i find it a bit short myself. The castors and arm rests are pretty good.

FYI Amazon has this on sale for Cyber Monday 2023 $240

Thanks for the review. Was always on the fence of buying a better chair as the price tag for anything decent is pretty hefty. This video convinced me to pull the trigger. Managed to find a good deal on this used for only 230 CAD (~180 USD). Very comfortable for someone on the shorter side (164cm).

I just recently purchased the Nouhaus Rewind chair and I wanted to love it so much, but I have pretty long legs for someone who is around 5'6"/5'7" and the seat depth kills the back of my thighs because there is so much of a gap. The design is very similar to the Ergo 3D, but it has an added foot rest. The chair is so comfortable and all the features are great, but I will be returning it because of the problem I am having with the seat. I hope that they improve this in the future because I am so sad that it didn't work out for me. Great products, great customer service, great company...but not for people with longer legs, at least not long term. Wish I saw this review before I made the jump to purchase. lol

I'm 6'1 (almost) and quite heavyset, so the 90kg is a far cry from where I am now, but I really love the thought that went into this chair, the ergonomics of it is pretty amazing. The fact they supply additional wheels for hard floors for me is a testament of their thoughtfulness. But I haven't bought an office chair in ages so I don't know whether that is the new norm nowadays and they simply comply.

Love your reviews, just ran into your channel and subscribed on the Eames lounge chair review. It seems your reviews are rock solid and well prepared, great content mate! Thanks

I have this chair in my office and I forget I have a bottom. I can’t feel anything. I love it!
