Being myself from one of these countries.
I cant help to laugh hearing the competitiveness between the three.
We truly are the Sisters/Brothers of the North.

Pretty much everything they mentioned are things that all 3 countries have in common.

There's much more to Sweden..

Nature: Up north we got some of the oldest mountains in the world, gives almost an empty, apocalyptic feel which is super cool. Lots of reindeers and Sami there. During winters it's super dark and for a short period the sun never rises. You can also see Northern lights then. During summers it's super bright and during midsummer the sun never sets so you have midnight sun.
down south we have many large archipelagos. Sweden has the most islands of any country in the world with over 260000 islands.
Allemansrätten means you can go anywhere in nature without being afraid that you're trespassing on someones land. Even if you're on private land you can forage and camp.

Stockholm is sometimes called the Venice of the north. Built on several islands and divided between the lake Mälaren and the Baltic sea. She nailed that it has a ton of nature, with lots of parks. You can visit Djurgården which is an island only minutes from the city which is almost untouched nature with some old buildings from the 1700s. Stockholm is also one of few old cities untouched by ww2 and has many very old buildings (some from the 1500s).

She also forgot to mention the very long maternity (and paternity) leave that parents get in Sweden when having children. Means you gets over a year of paid leave from your work to take care of you child. Healthcare is free until you're 18, then afterwards it's very subsidized. You rarely pay more than $20 for a doctors appointment, even if you'd maybe have to get an x-ray or do certain tests. Also if you have to visit a hospital many times in a year, you get a free card which makes all hospital visits free for a year.

sorry I just had to defend my country :) Finland and Norway are great too of course

Finland is a beautiful country, and so are all the others. Norway though... it's on a different level. Absolutely stunning scenery.

I'm not from Norway but I could probably sell Norway better, just mention the Sovereign wealth fund and maybe it's future with the newly found dominant phosphate deposit and it's importance and most of them will probably stay over. She did mention that Norway is one of the richest country though but didn't know to go into it enough, it might be THE richest country soon if it not already is.

The things is, most of the best things are shared in all these countries. I got to say though, when it comes to culture, I was surprised that the Pippi card wasn't used :D

The finnish girl succeeded painting the picture that we don't have any poor people in Finland and everybody can get whatever they want. What a statement. She talked about that children can go to movies etc because parents have always money to pay that. We do have those poor people who cannot afford even their daily necessities. What kind of utopia she lives in?

hahaha, the competitiveness when they’re all pretty similar. i think i’d stay here though (norway), i like the mountains and the aurora borealis.

Three very similar countries. Different landscapes where Sweden has a bigger variety, Norway the most breathtaking views and Finland the multitude of lakes. For welfare, social life et c I think a Korean would find all three very similar. And we are close like siblings, including Denmark.

Many of the arguments here applies to all Three countries. High taxes, Sami People, beautiful landscapes, many many lakes. There are many similarities. But also differences. I'm a Swede and I want to say Sweden is the best of the three, but I can't. Because there are things wich is better in Norway and Finland. For me it is very much a tossup, it's basically what a person prefers that will make the choice of wich of theese three countries you want to live in.

<SWEDEN>
- Completely free school meals (she forgot to mention)
- Get paid for attendance in both high school and university (not grades, just attendance)
- Called the land of many islands (we also have many lakes)
- You don't need to know Swedish here because we speak English quite well
- Many inventions (Volvo, IKEA, H&M, sportify, fifa, minecraft, freezer, dynamite, zipper etc)
- The most athletic country, if you visit you will see people playing all different type of sports.
- 70% forest + the largest north country.
- Big on sports
- Rich history, we owned both Norway and Finland, we got viking, last war was 200 years ago

---- Sweden for the win----

I am biased of course, cause I'm Norwegian, but aside from industry (where Sweden used to be really innovative), I can't see what Sweden has to offer, that Norway don't. The other way around, there are some stuff like the mountains and Svalbard or even Antarctica (granted you have to have the right education to inhabit the research station there). We feel there is not much difference in the culture, although I'd say the Swedish have more high culture and Finland has a really interesting language. The Sami people inhabit all three countries. Economically Norway is the safest, but the taxes are also enormous. Finland has nice wintery stuff, like Ice Hotels and Sauna culture, but we have apporpriated alot of that. If I didn't live in Norway, Sweden would be high on my list, right behind Switzerland.

In my opinion, Norway is the closest to Japan in terms of terrain, so the interior of the country has a lot of mountains and also a lot of seashores.
