My gripe with this mech is simple: Paid. Here's my reasoning, us F2P players can only get 1 event crate rush token. According to the info, the chances of us getting it with a token is 6.67% (check it if you want). So, if we get unlucky, we'll just not get Orion, since to get more event crate tokens you need to pay hard cash. Same with Tengu, and Aegis. I did get stalker by luck thankfully, but no cigar for both Aegis and Tengu (No missions if I recall to get tokens for Tengu). So please, if you're willing to hear suggestions, make it so that future mechs can be obtained via an event mission like Arachnos. Or make it so that there are more ways to obtain the event crate tokens. I do not mean to attack the devs in any way, devs have been doing great on other stuff, I'm just saying what I think. Lemme correct some things: he DOES have a defensive ability which is stasis effect, i usually pop hunter mark and run around the target and they can do nothing about it

I know they stress team work, but it seems like a 10/10 mech for killing lone enemies in a straight duel. With just a lil element of surprise this thing is a dangerous hunter

Orion was gonna be loki with the trick ability and be the supports first legendary mech but now it's Orion the epic support mech and have a ability that makes all hits back hits

Edit: I take it back I like Orion better but I still think loki could have been a good idea

Maybe the reason they change the name from LOKI to orion is because the ability they wanted wasn't an ability loki of norse mythology would have

I hope they actually add this in the progress path rather than us just having to pay real money to get it I mean a 6.27%chance to get it! Plus you only have one shot if you're f2p. I hope they add the new mechs, weapons, and pilots in the game so that f2p players can enjoy the game.

Hey Plarium,

I love Mech arena, but There are some problems with the game:

1: Limited time mechs like Orion and Stalker are near impossible to get for f2p players. Getting only one token for the event crate means only a slim chance to get the mech, which means either waiting for them to reappear or praying they get added to the progress path, which they don’t.

2. Credits are, for being the most common resource, hard to get. Your not likely to run out of A-coins if you spend them wisely, but It’s hard to get enough credits to upgrade anything. Either make things cheaper or allow us to get more credits in a way that doesn’t involve whipping out our wallets to save time.

3. This is my personal experience, but I hate 2v2 Deathmatch. Unlike 5v5, 2v2 has awkward, clunky maps, Artillery weapons are basically useless as the rockets will either collide with the roof of wherever you are positioned, or the enemy can basically move in any direction because there are so many places to take cover. 5v5 matches are exciting and promote teamwork. 2v2 matches, from my experience, are just mechs slapping each other until death, then switching to a new mech and repeating.

4. The shop. I see a lot of people who have bought Ares and Arc Torrents for like, £3-4 and just decimate players because at the lower divisions where these types of players are found, all the other mechs are too flimsy and no one has strong enough weaponary to defeat them, unless they buy it.

These are some of the problems I have. I love the game in general, but these issues need to be solved if players are gonna be able to enjoy the game without converting into money burning whales such as Raid Shadow legends, another title of yours.

On another note for the people reading this, pls make sure Plarium see this.

Interesting mech to use, but for the F2P people they won't have an easy time acquiring it, as well as any other Mechs.

But what's the deal with all these new mechs having a buck load of hp? even the newest scouter has the same health as guardian, who was known for his tough armor.. on top of high speed and mobility with it's ability and stasis too plus stealth. Stalker has scout speed with the health of a tank and can turn 12 energy weapons into better versions of 16 energy weapons especially with implants, and now this? Maybe it's time some of the older mechs got a little health buff, especially guardian. He's becoming too squishy and slow with all the new mechs and features coming out . .
