Nintendo E3 2015 Conference in 2 Minutes

Star Fox Zero, Zelda: Triforce Heroes, and Metroid Prime: Federation Force. Oh, and Muppets!

Nintendo's was pretty bad this year...

IGN had to make it 2 minutes because there wasn't enough stuff to make a 3 minute summarization like Microsoft's and Sony's conference.

That was the best E3 i have seen on my life.Great job Nintendo, my wallet will be done once I finish buying all those great games.

I like most people was extremely pissed at Nintendo. I wanted to see a new Metriod announced and perhaps a trailer with more information on Zelda. Then I realized that there really wasn't anything other than that that could please Nintendo fans. Smash is already out and just released great and unexpected DLC. Mario Kart 8 remains fresh with all the new additions they've added as well. Splatoon keeps churning out more weapons to give players even more variety in playing. I'm not going to make the argument that Nintendo's directs throughout the year make up for the lack of heavyweight titles at E3 this year.
My argument is that they've already announced/released those heavyweight titles.

The only thing they could have done was announce a new Metriod or F-zero game which they did not (but I really do feel that a new Metriod is in the works and will be announced at the next few directs). What was everyone really expecting? Nintendo is doing all of this alone right now. Yes it's mostly their own fault, but 3rd parties aren't the angels here either. There needed to be an effort to really colaborate and neither Nintendo or 3rd parties saw the need. What you have now is a company trying it's best to give fans something to play before the NX reveal, and yes, they're scrapping the bottom of the barrel. But you know what? Star Fox looks great, and I'm looking forward to that Paper Mario/Mario and Luigi crossover as well as playing a Zelda game online with my friends. You can either be pissed or you can understand that Nintendo is at it's limit.

Sadly, if Nintendo just released this video, it would be way more interesting than the whole presentation. On the positive side of things, these are great games and most of these are coming out this year. All we wanted was that ONE surprise Nintendo is usually good at showing. Unfortunately, the big franchises did not appear in the blockbuster form we all wish it did.

The saddest part about Nintendo's conference is right in the video's title: it could be summed up in two minutes. What a pathetically behind company... it's amazing how many people defend their ideas and choices.

It was bad because they treated it like another Direct, and it would've been pretty good if it was just a Direct, but this is E3, one of the biggest events in gaming, and they show up with nothing major, it was an hour of not a whole lot new. That was their mistake.
