Pro tools has a channel that you can create called master mix giving the user full control over all tracks to change the volume levels for each track at once with the slider, keeping your mix volumes in tack on each track.
How do I find this and create it for a project in Logic 11?

why when I make the vocal bus it lets me choose between mono and stereo plugins? I feel like using all stereo plugins on my mix doesn't sound that well, but when I use all mono for some reason towards the end of the mix the Vox starts playing louder in one ear than the other, plz help

hey mate,
I’m trying to add a heavy reverb effect across all the tracks to help transition into a slowed and pitched-down ending for a beat I’m making. Essentially, I want to slow down and pitch down the main chorus towards the end.

I don't want to manually adjust each track individually. In fact, there are several other plugins I want to automate for specific sections as well.

I tried using a stutter effect on the main stereo, which works for one plugin, but I can't stack multiple plugins in this way. I assume this isn't the best approach.

Next, I linked all the tracks to a bus with reverb and automated the volume, but the volume automation affects the entire track, not just the few bars at the end. It’s also strange because it impacts the overall volume of the song.

To try a different method, I routed all the tracks to Bus 10, made the bus appear on the timeline, but the volume automation still affects the entire track's volume, if that makes sense.

What I really want is to automate any plugin effect across all tracks for specific sections without affecting the volume of the entire project. Is there a way to do this?

So if i create a vocal bus for sidechaining only with no fx, do i zero out the volume fader on that bus? cuz the parallel bus would add a duplicated signal that i dont want

so you said that it helps with space but I would think that it helps everything sound more in tune as well, or am I mistaking ???? I say this because if you have the same reverb on many instruments or many vocals it help bring them to a more common sound rather all kinds of reverb jumping around on different parts throughout the mix..

If you put all vocals in a sum folder do you even have to use a bus for them? Cause a reverb will affect the whole sum folder right? Wrong?

Hey KC sounds, I am still using sends, busses & auxes, like you, but was just wondering do you ever use summing tracks instead to achieve similar results? And if not any reason why not?

How much is the level if you just add the effect plugin to a channel vs if you set aux channel?
