Brad, Hubby & I grew up in northern NJ in the 50's. The little Italian "fast food" place we sometimes went for lunch filled their calzones with a little diced ham, the three cheeses, a pinch of oregano and a sprinkle of olive oil. Delish! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

Hi, brad & christa. I love watching your cooking video, make me laugh, especially brad. I'm from Malaysia & here we called this "karipap" and we eat karipap for breakfast or evening tea. The size of karipap is smaller and fry in oil. In Malaysia karipap is selling at street. Here, we use karipap mould to prepare. The choice of filling are beef minced, chicken, potato & sweet potato. The last time I tried a calzone, a LONG time ago, I failed miserably on the form. Love Christa's sealing technique. I'll have to give that a try. And it is nice polish. :)
