In this video you can see the Jaguar-U (BCC-72) military UHF aircraft transceiver in action. It is demonstrated here with the AN/PRC-41 for the AM mode, and a Baofeng UV-82X hand-held radio for the FM mode.
The radio you see here was manufactured by Racal Military Communications in 1993. The radio was never issued, so it is NOS (New old Stock). Today, the Racal Company is a part of the Thales Group (Defense and Aerospace). TheBCC-72 radio covers the military aircraft band (225 MHz to 400 MHz) in 25kHz steps, for both AM and FM modes. In the FM mode the radio is capable of frequency hopping to defeat enemy ECM and ESM attacks. The Jaguar-U that you see here is still widely in use around the world today, installed in military jets and transport aircraft as deployed in various countries. The hop method that this radio is equipped with is still in use today as it is backwards compatible with the newer Thales Panther series of radios that are still sold today.

I'm very late to this. Are there companies that specialise in selling these?
