Today we will be discussing on the display of the contents in WordPress. Suppose we have ten blogs to display in the landing page of our site, each post has a 1200 words for each. So, we are displaying a total of twelve thousands of words that will be loaded for the first time in our landing page; just imagine what chaos it might have brought forward! Enhanced loading time of the page, decreased loading speed, and moreover, increased bounce rate of our site with prolonged sliding down and down, if however, entered to view the contents! It is wise to keep the contents short for good. This is why, we will know about a special WordPress function today, which is known as - WordPress Excerpt.

Here, in the part 1, we mainly concentrated into some topics; they are:

1) What is WordPress Excerpt
2) How to use it into our project for shorter content display?
3) What is the limitation of using WordPress Excerpt condition?
